Course: Appetizer, Finger Food, Snack
Cuisine: American, Western
Servings: 16 s'mores
Cost: £1 / $1
- 32 Ritz Crackers
- 160g / 5.6oz Brie, diced into small chunks (see notes)
- 80g / 2.8oz Caramelised Onion Chutney (see notes)
Top half of the crackers with chutney then top with a chunk of brie. Place a second cracker on top and gently push down so it sticks to the brie.
Option 1 (bake): Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Place the s'mores on a baking tray and bake for 2-3 minutes, or until the brie is JUST starting to melt.
Option 2 (air fry): Spread the s'mores out in the air fryer and cook at 190C/375F for 2-3 minutes, or until the brie is JUST starting to melt. You may need to do this in batches.
Option 3 (grill): Preheat the grill/broiler to high. Leave the cracker off of the top and place the topless s'mores on a baking tray. Place under the grill/broiler for 1-2 minutes, or until the brie JUST starts to melt. Add the second cracker on top after.
Timings will vary for each method so just be vigilant. You don't want the brie to fully melt and completely leak out of the crackers.
a) Chutney - You could experiment with different chutneys (apple & pear or even tomato could work) but I highly recommend using caramelised chutney first. You'll find it in most supermarkets.
b) Brie - No need to remove the rind. You could sub camembert if you'd prefer.
c) Calories - Per s'more.
